On Friday, campers in Bogrim presented their synchronized swimming routines which they have been working on for the second half of the summer. The performances included traditional and not so traditional synchronized swimming moves to songs as diverse as Lady Gaga, 1990s boy bands, 1980s pop and Queen. There was even a mock pirate battle complete with kayaks and swimming noodles to the soundtrack of "Pirates of the Caribbean." A panel of celebrity judges included Assistant Director Jacob Cytryn, staff trainer Rabbi Ronnie Garr, and Rosh Bogrim Jeremy Fineberg. Our Rosh Performing Arts Jonathan Ross (also known as JAR) provided color commentary during the routines. The smiles on the campers' faces were huge as they performed. Bogrim might not be quite ready for the Summer Olympics, but they sure had a lot of fun!
