Join us this summer.
Summers at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin build upon each other – with each progressive summer experience providing more intense and diverse ways to live our values of joy, growth, connections and inclusion. Most campers will begin their experience with our introduction Ruach Ramah program, a 1 or 2-week sampling of the best of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. Campers will then increase their exploration of camp during the Garinim and Halutzim programs, 3.5 or 7.5-week exploratory summers with increasing programmatic options, elective possibilities and social relations. Ultimately our campers partake in the full experience, the pinnacle of the Camp Ramah in Wisconsin summer program, where each full-summer is action-packed with riveting programming, captivating experiences and deepening friendships that last a lifetime.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long can my camper attend Camp Ramah in Wisconsin this summer?
Our Garinim (entering 4th & 5th grade) & Halutzim (entering 6th grade) program is a 3.5-week session, which most campers and their families have found to be the appropriate length of time – our cabin-formation, eidah-wide programming, and eidah calendar are all based on this 3.5-week framework. Of course your camper is welcome to stay for both sessions and be with us at camp for the entire summer!
For first-time campers or campers who are not ready for the 3.5-week session, you can enroll in our introductory Ruach Ramah program from either a 1-week or 2-week session.
Can my camper come for 6 weeks?
Yes! While our formal sessions are first session, second session or the full summer session – campers in Garinim and Halutzim who wish to attend camp for 6 weeks can enroll for the Full Summer Session and leave the second session two-weeks early. To select this option, check ‘CRW Session Flexibility (6-Week Option)’ on the Additional Options enrollment (page 3). Please note that leaving the second session two weeks early means that your camper may miss some of our program highlights from that session, including a camping trip, day on the ropes course, and tubing on the lake.
What about other session flexibility?
We want your campers to return to Ramah this summer (and bring their friends!). For any other individual circumstances or session flexibility needs, check ‘CRW Additional Session Flexibility’ on the Additional Options enrollment (page 3) when completing your application and our team will be in touch to discuss possibilities
Will my camper be in a cabin with campers from the same session?
Like every summer, the number of cabins and exact cabin configuration will be based on enrollment. Cabins will be designated for each eidah (age group), so the Ruach Ramah, Garinim and Halutzim campers will all live in cabins with just their eidah. Campers may live in a mixed-grade cabin, but with only two-grades at any given time (for example, 3rd and 4th graders may share a cabin, but 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will not all share a cabin together).
If I live in Chicago; can I also spend time at Ramah Day Camp this summer?
Yes! Chicago-area campers are encouraged to spend parts of the summer at both Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and Ramah Day Camp. Campers who spend a combined 8 weeks at our Ramah camps (4+4 weeks or 6+2 weeks, etc.) will receive an $800 discount off their combined tuition.
How do I apply for financial assistance?
We know that the decision to attend Camp Ramah in Wisconsin is an investment in your camper’s future. We are committed to making sure that every family that wants to have a Ramah experience is able to do so. If you have any questions about the financial assistance process, please be in touch with our Director of Operations, Scott Topal or by phone at (312) 690-8326.
What if my camper did Ruach Ramah last year, but is not ready for 4-weeks at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin?
Campers are now able to participate in Ruach Ramah for multiple summers. Campers interested in attending for 1 or 2-weeks should enroll for Ruach Ramah. Our engaging staff and exciting programming will ensure that your camper has new experiences, interactions and an overall new experience.
What if my camper isn’t sure if they want to attend for 2 or 4-weeks?
Campers who participate in the Ruach Ramah program will not have the option to extend beyond the 2-week session.
If you believe that your camper is likely to attend camp for 3.5-weeks, we encourage you to enroll them for a 3.5-week session. If for whatever reason they need to leave camp earlier than 4-weeks we will gladly work with you to arrange travel logistics.
