Vintage Graffiti Tour

A little bit of history

a whole lot of memories

A beautiful new Nivonim campus was built in 2017 thanks to the generous community support of the Givah Campaign. It expands the footprint of the original “Nivo Hill” and includes a double boys cabin, a double girls cabin, and a Moadon lounge – all seen in the photo above. This new campus replaces the four original cabins that were the home of our oldest campers for much of our camp’s history.

While graffiti was not permitted in other cabins, there was a tradition to add your name to the hallowed walls (and ceiling and floor) on the Givah. Before the original cabins were replaced, photographer Greg Shapps (Nivo 1986) captured the seven decades of graffiti and created a virtual reality tour.  Click the button below and click on one of the cabin doors to start the tour.
