This summer we are excited to be welcoming back Josh Sacks as Rosh Shira (Songleading). This is his third year on staff, and third summer at camp. Though he attended other camps in the past, he never found his summer home until the summer of 2010 when he first worked at Ramah Wisconsin as a member of Tzvet Shira (songleading staff).
Originally from Deerfield, Illinois, Josh currently lives in Bloomington, Indiana where he is a junior at Indiana University, studying finance, public policy analysis, and Jewish studies. If that weren't enough, Josh is also the president of Indiana's Pro-Israel political student group on campus (Indiana Israel Public Affairs Committee) and is the conservative chair at IU's Hillel.
His favorite things about camp include inter-aidah competitions, the Zimriyah (Song Festival), song sessions, camping trips, and campfire song sessions. This summer, he is looking forward to Shabbat services on the waterfront, song sessions in the chadrei ochel (dining halls), meeting all the new campers, and teaching campers new songs that he has learned this past school year.
