On Thursday night, the whole camp came together for one of our final all-camp events of the summer—the Rikudiyah Dance Festival. Every aidah, as well as staff, Hanhallah (leadership), and international staff, participated in the event by performing a dance on stage. The dances were all done to Hebrew music, from the traditional to the contemporary. Each Rosh Aidah had fun performing a silly routine to introduce his or her aidah’s dance, and you could tell by the expressions on their faces how much fun the dancers were having. After the performances, the whole camp joined together in Kikar dancing and the Bet Am was filled with happy and excited campers and staff, dancing and enjoying their last week at camp. It was a great way to celebrate the wonderful summer we’ve had together!
