7.18 (440) One of the truly unique programs at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin is the Northwoods Ramah Theatre Company (NRTC) residency. This summer the company is comprised of professional actors Francine Silverman, Jonathan Ross, Shawn Shafner, Emily Warshaw and New York-based international director Annie Levy. They will spend two weeks at camp creating new pieces of Jewish theatre, all the while giving the camp community the chance to experience their creative process.

This summer, the company will workshop a new play by resident playwright Deanna Neil. Deanna is the author of the popular young adult series, The EcoSeekers — www.theecoseekers.com, and a Ramah Wisconsin alumna! The company will also run a theatre-making clinic for campers and staff interested in creating new 10-minute plays as playwrights and directors. As in previous summer residencies, the NRTC will hold open rehearsals so campers and staff can see the company's process and progress.

We can't wait to welcome the Northwoods Ramah Theatre Company back for its 7th season at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin!
