Our awesome maintenance staff has been hard at work over the winter getting camp ready for summer 2011! Their work has included new landscaping, a new drinking fountain in the Moadon Chadash, and new ceilings with better insulation in some of the cabins. The biggest project was the renovation of one of the original camp buildings, the Mercaz (education center). The front part of the building, formerly the Mirpeset Mercaz (the porch of the Mercaz), is no longer a porch! It has been enclosed with new windows and transformed into a programming office, the educational office, and a large work area complete with computers for our teachers. We know our program and education staff will plan fabulous activities in their new space!
