Where are you from and what do you do when you’re not in camp? I’m from Evanston, Illinois, and I study chemistry and Hispanic studies at Brown University.
What is your job at camp? Madrich Chevrati (cabin counselor) for Machon
How many summers have you been at camp? Seven (5 as a camper)
Why do you come back to camp?
As a camper I came back because I wanted to spend the summer with my best friends and to be in a really special place with them and as a counselor I come back because I want to give my campers the same experience I had.
What makes Camp Ramah special?
It’s everything about it. It’s the people, it’s the place, it’s the kind of community that you can form in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin and it’s the activities we get to do and the opportunities we have.
What is your favorite camp wide event?
Probably the Zimriyah (campwide song festival) because it’s the first time in the summer when all of camp is together and everyone gets so hyped and so loud. It’s so fun.
Where’s your favorite water fountain in camp?
It’s the water fountain right outside of the beit am but it’s not the actual water fountain it’s the spout you can turn on and off to fill a water bottle.
Where is your favorite spot in camp?
Probably sitting by the agam (lake) at sunset. It’s really pretty.
What is your favorite camp meal?
I would say probably the Shabbos meals. I’m a vegetarian and on Shabbos they always have the best vegetarian meals.

Where are you from and what do you do when you’re not in camp? I’m from Modiin, Israel
and I’m currently a university student living in Jerusalem.
What is your job at camp? Rosh Chavalim (Ropes Course)

Why do you come back to camp?
I love the kids! They are so fun and great.
What makes Camp Ramah special?
I love the view and the environment here. This is a really special place with special kids and special counselors and people.
What is your favorite camp wide event?
Yom Sport!
Where’s your favorite water fountain in camp?
The one near the Beit Am bathrooms.
Where is your favorite spot in camp?
Hadar Musika (the music room in the Beit Am) is fun.
What is your favorite camp meal?
Barbeque is the best one.

Where are you from and what do you do when you’re not in camp? I’m from Eagan, Minnesota. I’ll be a freshman at University of Wisconsin and I plan to major in political science.

Why do you come back to camp?
I come back to camp both because all of my friends are here, but also because it’s a great community that has given a lot to me and I want to give back.
What makes Camp Ramah special?
Camp is special because of the people who are here and how much fun you are able to have with them.
What is your favorite camp wide event?
I really like my own Aidah’s play so whatever Aidah I’m in and the show they put on is the best. So this year, Seussical!

The new one by the sports courts is great.
