Camp music takes a variety of forms – from amplified and energized shira sessions after meals, to the campwide Zimriyah music festival, to great choreographed productions in our Hebrew musicals.
There’s a time for slower, melodic music too. At the end of Shabbat about 75 campers stay after dinner to sing together until it’s almost time for Havdalah. And every Thursday night our oldest campers are invited to join a spiritually infused and enthusiastic song session, known as Mishmar, as we begin preparations to welcome Shabbat.
