On Friday evening we welcomed our first Shabbat of the season as a camp community. We gathered by Lake Buckatabon to sing the beautiful melodies of Kabbalat Shabbat while the sun set, followed by a delicious Shabbat dinner with challah and dessert made by our camp baker, Wally. Yesterday the weather was warm and sunny with plenty of time for swimming and sports. Shabbat ended with Havdalah in each aidah and a wish for a Shavua Tov – another great week at camp.
