Have you completed the Boundaries & Appropriate Behavior training?
(Required)
I attended the Boundaries & Appropriate Behavior training in person on June 13, 2025
I have completed watching the Boundaries & Appropriate Behavior video in its entirety.
According to the video, the main danger of inconsistent boundaries at camp, especially for preventing harm, is that they:
Make it difficult for staff to build good relationships with all campers.
Show potential abusers which rules can be easily ignored or broken without anyone noticing.
Are often a sign that staff have not been trained enough on camp policies.
According to the video, for staff interactions with campers to be "observable and interruptible," what condition must be met?
Staff should make sure their conversations with campers are always recorded.
Staff must ensure they are always in a visible location where another person could step in if needed.
Staff must stop any private conversations that campers are having with each other.
When you see someone crossing a boundary, what specific action does the video strongly advise staff to take?
Ignore it unless it directly puts a camper's immediate physical safety at risk.
Wait to see if the behavior gets worse over time before doing anything.
"Bump it up," meaning to report the behavior to a supervisor or camper care professional.
