Thursday night, our campers in Solelim (entering 7th grade) presented their Hebrew version of the musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. With this being their first full season at camp, this was their first chance to perform a musical for the camp. On songs like “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” “Suppertime” and “Happiness,” the campers showed tremendous energy and enthusiasm. They sang loudly, with lots of expression in their voices, and they simply looked like they were having fun. The campers loved getting to know Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus and Lucy and sharing the joys of childhood that the musical celebrates.
