At Havdalah, we could all feel the mood change. What had been an intense few days of meetings and preparations instantly transformed into the fun work of preparing for the arrival of the campers. The staff talent show was phenomenal – staff members danced, sang, performed magic tricks, did stand-up comedy, and each tzevet presented their eidah song for the first time. Today the camp is alive with the sounds of the summer: the only thing missing is the campers!
This morning, we sent our bus captains back to the Twin Cities, Chicago and Munster in anticipation of the campers' arrival tomorrow. Tonight madrichim will set up the tzrifim and prepare nikayon charts. Then tonight the entire staff will gather together for a closing to staff week and the distribution of our tzevet T-shirts for the summer.
Tomorrow we begin the 2010 season of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin!
