Talmud Torah 4th, 5th, and 6th graders had the privilege of learning with Rabbi Loren Sykes last week. For the younger children, Rabbi Sykes creatively wove the Creation Story into a lesson about how the Torah teaches us lessons of Tzedakah and Chesid that we can all practice in our daily lives. With the older students, Rabbi Sykes discussed part of the Noah story with them and turned it into a lesson about cyber bullying. It was a fascinating lesson about making the right choices in which the students were engaged and participating.
