Lev joins us as Rosh Machnaut (Camping) this summer. He was a camper for five summers and this is his fourth summer on staff. He is happy to be returning for his first summer back since 2008.
Lev is originally from Chicago. He made Aliyah almost three years ago, finished two years of Israeli Army service, and now lives on Kibbutz Sa’ad in the south of Israel. On kibbutz he works in irrigation and enjoys eating delicious vegetables picked right from the kibbutz fields!
Lev’s favorite thing about camp is being close to nature – the trees, animals, the agam (waterfront), the quiet setting. This summer he looks forward to the amazing hikes, overnight camping trips, and nature programs planned for each and every aidah.
