Leora is joining us for her first summer on staff after six summers as a camper. This summer she is a Jewish Studies Teacher, who is also a counselor in a Solelim (entering 7th grade) cabin.
What is your favorite thing about camp?
My favorite thing about camp is the sense of community.
Share one of your favorite moments of the summer so far.
I love the shira (singing) after meals. The campers had a great time singing yesterday and I felt this wonderful energy. It was like a wake-up call–the campers are here and the summer is going to be awesome.
What are you most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to getting to know my campers better, spending more time with them and seeing their aidah grow.
