It's only the second full day of camp, yet in some ways it seems as if we never left.  The sun finally came out today as campers spent time learning about all the different activities camp has to offer–from music, art, and drama, to swimming, sports, and Jewish study.  It was a perfect day for the swimming tests, and lots of cheering could be heard from the docks as campers and counselors encouraged each other to tread water and swim laps in the familiar, though sometimes chilly, waters of Lake Buckatabon.  Everyone is excited, and it is shaping up to be an excellent summer.

Tali F. (Solelim):  This summer I'm really excited for art because we get to try out the woodshop and other things we didn't get to do Halutzim.

Katie H. (Solelim):  I'm really looking forward to the plays that we're doing.  I think it's going to be really fun to do it in Hebrew because it's not something that we do every day.

Micah (Garinim):  I think camp is a really exciting place, a great place for making a lot of friends and having fun.  I'm looking forward to trying out more activities and making more friends.

Penina (Garinim):  The best thing in camp is probably the lake.  Camp is really fun so far.

Ethan F. (Solelim):  So far, camp is great.  I'm looking forward to just hanging out and having fun.

Josh (Solelim):  I love camp and I'm looking forward to playing a lot of basketball.

Shira (Shoafim):  I'm really looking forward to making new friends and doing new things that I haven't done before.  I'm excited about doing a lot of art and I'm looking forward to our musical, Aladdin.
