Every cabin takes a turn on the high and low ropes courses, designed to teach teamwork and cooperation. This week Bogrim cabin 11 spent several hours on the high ropes course. Two campers shared their exhilaration when they accomplished the “Jacob’s Ladder” challenge.
Gabe: It’s an element that requires two people to be successful. I knew Jacob and I could do it if we worked together.
Jacob: I’ve never done anything like this and wasn’t sure I could succeed. When I heard Gabe saying, “you can do it!” and “I believe in you!” it really motivated me to keep going.
When they reached the top of the ladder, they beamed with pride – it was an amazing camp moment!
