His synagogue, Congregation B’nai Amoona in St. Louis, recently won the 2013 Ruderman Prize in Disability. B’nai Amoona won the prize based on “their commitment toward the full inclusion of people with disabilities into society and for their vision of providing the same opportunities for everyone in their communities."
