We’re happy to welcome back Alex Cantor as this summer’s Rosh Nagarut! Years on staff: This will be my 4th summer on staff. My first two summers I was a miktzoi for Nagarut, and this will be my second summer as Rosh.
Years as a camper: I was a camper for 3 summers
Favorite thing about camp? Aside from Nagarut (which is obviously the best), I really enjoy sailing on the agam.
Most looking forward to: I’m really looking forward to the Machon Intensive, I can’t wait to see what the chanichim (campers) come up with this summer! Start thinking of ideas now 🙂
Life outside of camp: I go to school at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. I recently decided to take a year off and spent a month in Portugal and 5 months in Israel.
Hometown: I’m from all over the place, but I currently live in Baltimore, MD
Fun fact: I spent a month in Porto, Portugal, learning to speak Portuguese in the morning and learning how to surf in the afternoon.
