Welcome back to Einav Dvir, this summer as Rosh Machnaut!
Roles at camp: This will be my third year on camping staff. My previous two summers at camp I was part of the camping staff (מחנאות), and the first year was on Bogrim’s staff and second year on Machon’s staff. This summer I’ll be Rosh of camping staff and on Nivonim staff.
How you found out about Ramah: Gal (Atia) was looking for new shlichim (Israeli staff members) and he asked me if I was interested in coming to work at camp. Of course I was! So, thank you Gal!
Other camp experiences: I was a camper all my childhood and a counselor at a youth movement in Israel and every summer there would be a camp that included many hiking trips, outdoor cooking, and other nature activities.
Favorite thing about camp: Cabin camping trip!!!!
Most looking forward to: I’m really excited to spend another summer with my chanichim (campers), aidat hanivonim (Nivonim, entering 11th graders), especially at the new givah! And I’m really excited to start working with the outdoors staff!
Life outside camp: I study human resources management at Hadassah College in Jerusalem.
Hometown: I’m from Israel and am from a town named Shoham, right by the Ben Gurion airport. So if you’re in the area, come and visit.
