This summer our 7th graders are having an amazing time making new friends and enjoying everything camp has to offer. We just performed our play, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and it inspired our summer theme, Yesh Li Kartis Zahav, (I have a golden ticket). We have discussed how to enjoy every moment that we have here at Ramah this summer and make the most of everything that is given to us.
The top ten moments of the summer (in no particular order), as decided by the Solelim campers:
- The play: Willy Wonka
- The Zimriyah song festival
- All 3 days of Yom Sport
- Our aidah running through the sprinklers
- Capture the Flag
- Shirah in the chadrei ochel (singing after meals)
- “Make your own Vines” evening activity
- Camping trips
- Yom Meyuchad (special thematic programming) about Superheroes
- The 4th of July Carnival
We can’t wait for the rest of the summer!
