Eliana Fisher - RDCEliana Fisher is joining us for her first summer on staff at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin as Rosh S’chiya (swimming). She was formerly a lifeguard and swim instructor at Ramah Day Camp for two summers and joined the swim staff for Family Camp at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin for two summers. Eliana was a camper at Ramah Day Camp for three summers and has heard so many wonderful stories about Camp Ramah in Wisconsin that she can’t wait to experience it for herself!

From Wilmette, Illinois, Eliana recently graduated from the Double Degree Program at Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary. She earned a degree in Political Science and Human Rights at Barnard and a degree in Talmud at JTS. Next year Eliana will work as a paralegal in the Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program at the New York Legal Assistance Group as part of the AVODAH Service Corps 2016-2017.

Eliana is very excited to meet all the amazing staff members and campers at camp, and is looking forward to helping campers improve their swimming skills over the summer. She’s also looking forward to taking in more sunsets over the agam (waterfront), which she says are “breathtakingly beautiful every time.”
