Dear Garinim 2016, jaredHi, I’m Jared Skoff, and I am beyond excited to be your Rosh Aidah [Division Head] this summer. I can’t wait to toss around a frisbee, sing new songs, jump in the agam [lake] and play games on the Kikar with you.

A little about me… This is my third summer working at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and my sixth summer working for Ramah (I spent three summers working at Camp Ramah in Canada!)  I have a very fun job because I get to work for Camp Ramah all year long! This year I was part of a Camp Ramah program in Detroit, Michigan and next year I will work for Ramah in New York City.  I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated in 2014 from Washington University in St. Louis.

I am counting down the days until I can spend my summer with you – such an energetic group of chanichim [campers]. We are going to be the largest aidah in camp and I know we are going to bring so much energy and fun to everything we do. I’m thrilled to be able to show you all of the incredible things about Camp Ramah and watch many of you experience camp for the first time. I cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you!

L’hitraot b’Conover, [see you in Conover]

Jared
