elana kennedyHaving survived a long, record-setting snowy Boston winter, Elana Kennedy can’t wait to be back on the kikar! After six summers as a camper in Wisconsin, a summer on Ramah Seminar, and two summers on Tzevet Drama (drama staff), this will be Elana’s first summer as Rosh Drama (head of drama staff). Originally from Skokie, Illinois, Elana is currently a sophomore at Brandeis university studying Music and Theatre Arts. This year she has been the Musical Director of Ba’note, Brandeis’ premier all-female Jewish a cappella group.  She has also served on the Hillel student board, given campus tours as an admissions ambassador, and served as an orientation leader for new students.

Elana’s favorite part of camp is Kabbalat Shabbat on the lake, when the entire camp comes together to welcome Shabbat at the end of an exciting week. She can’t wait for another summer of great musicals, fun drama peulot, and spending time with friends on the kikar. Elana is looking forward to a glitter-filled, magical summer in drama!
