After two summers away from camp, Nick Bruscato is excited to be back at camp as Rosh Teva! Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Nick graduated in May from the joint program at Columbia University and Jewish Theological Seminary’s List College with majors in Italian Cultural Studies and Modern Jewish Studies. In the fall he will be starting a Master’s program in Environmental Justice at the University of Michigan. He will be bringing his ecological expertise to camp this summer.nick

Nick’s first summers at camp were with his mother and camp nurse, Robin Bruscato. After two summers in Rishonim, Nick was a camper for six summers, attended Ramah Seminar in Israel, and was a Machon counselor for the 2010 and 2011 camp seasons. He’s extremely looking forward to being back at camp in this new role, exploring the bog and growing a garden with our campers.

Nick is also a black belt in Shaolin Chuan Fan Kung Fu and loves reading and creative writing. He can’t wait for the campers to arrive and for the 2014 Teva program to begin!
