Thrilled to be keeping his title as “the tallest person at camp,” Or Berger is returning for his second summer in Conover, and his second summer as Rosh Radio. After a friend working at Ramah Berkshires told him about his love for Camp Ramah, Or decided Ramah might be a great place for him too. He’s excited to be back and making the radio station (89.3 WRMH) schedule bigger and better than it has ever been.
Or is originally from Kfar Aharon, a place he says is so tiny it makes Eagle River look huge. He graduated from Makif-Alef High School, a performing arts high school in Be’er Sheva, where he studied mass communication-radio and literature. Currently, Or is represented by Israel’s largest actors agency, “Blue and White Artists,” where he works as a voice actor on various projects.
Although it’s hard for Or to choose just one thing he loves most about camp (JAR, Rosh Mercaz, is up there!), he loves learning both from Jewish texts and everyday encounters with campers and staff!
