My name is Lena Eskin, and I am absolutely thrilled to be Rosh Rikud this summer! I am from Evanston, IL, but I am currently a freshman at Cornell University studying physics and taking pre-med courses. I was a camper for six summers, and this will be my second summer on staff. Last summer I was a Kochavim/Halutzim counselor and a member of Tzevet Rikud. I am so excited to be back at camp this summer. What I love most about camp is being able to live with all of my best friends for two whole months. I can’t wait to sit and talk with friends on the Kikar, to pray by the lake on Shabbat, and, of course, to dance! I have been dancing for most of my life and I even joined a dance group at college, so I love participating in all the dance opportunities that camp has to offer. This summer I hope to bring even more energy to Kikar dancing and the Rikudiya, in addition to choreographing fun and energetic dance numbers for the musicals.
I am looking forward to working with everyone this summer, and I know I can count on campers and staff to bring everything they’ve got to the Moadon, to the Kikar, and to the Bet Am Stage.
