Bar Mashiach joins us this year from Rosh Haayin in Israel. This is her second summer as part of our Mishlachat (Israeli staff delegation) and she is very excited to return to Ramah to lead our machnaut (camping) program. She was a camping counselor last year as well.
Bar studied biology and geography at a school in her town, Rosh Haayin, and she was part of the Israeli Scouts for many years. She currently works at a camping equipment store.
Bar came to Ramah through the Jewish Agency as part of the Summer Shlichim program. Her favorite part about camp is the serenity during Shabbat. She’s looking forward to seeing everyone and experiencing new things this summer. She can’t wait to share her love of the outdoors with the campers and she hopes they will love the outdoors as much as she does.
