leah segalLeah Segal is no stranger to the waterfront at Camp Ramah–in addition to being a camper for four summers, this is her fourth summer on waterfront staff! She is very excited to be stepping into the Rosh role this summer (she was assistant Rosh last summer) and can’t wait to be back at camp. She’s already got many ideas in the works for improving both the swimming and boating programs. As she says, “The Agam is sure to be filled with a lot of learning and fun!” Originally from Minnetonka, MN, Leah is currently a sophomore at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. She is majoring in psychology and minoring in LGBT studies while teaching Hebrew at the local temple. After graduation she is planning on making aliyah.

Leah’s favorite thing about camp is “having the opportunity to live in a thriving Jewish community.” She’s looking forward to Kabbalat Shabbat services on the lakefront, one of the highlights of the Ramah experience for everyone who experiences it.

So get ready for a fun summer at Lake Buckatabon. It may be a little chilly now, but hot summer temperatures will be here before we know it!
