Amitzur Agassi Mishlachat – Art (Omanut)
Amitzur was born and raised in Maryland and made aliyah in 2015 to Efrat where he lives now. Amitzur majored in Biology and History in high school and before drafting to the army he did a year of Mechina – a pre army preparatory program. In the army he served as a guide at the National Memorial Hall for Israel’s Fallen on Mount Herzl. He was released from army service two months ago and is very much looking forward to Camp!

David Alperin Senior Counselor – Drama
This is David’s second summer on staff after eight summers as a camper. David attends the University of Pittsburgh (in Pittsburgh), studying mathematics, physics, linguistics, Quechua, and much else.

Charles Appel Senior Counselor – Cabin
Chuck Appel attends Michigan State University as a Food Science major with a focus in Packaging. He was a camper at Ramah in Wisconsin for six summers and was a part of Nivo ’17 and is excited to return for his fourth summer on staff.

Lauren Appel Senior Counselor – Cabin
Lauren returns to camp for her third summer in person on staff after spending six summers as a camper. From Buffalo Grove, Illinois, she currently attends Indiana University Bloomington where she is pursuing a Jewish Studies major along with minors in both Nonprofit Management and Youth Development. Lauren also spent this past semester as a member of the Nachshon Project’s 8th cohort, where she studied abroad at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and gained valuable knowledge about what it means to be a leader and work in the Jewish community.

Molly Appel Senior Counselor – Cabin
Molly is really excited to be returning to Camp Ramah in Wisconsin for her 10th summer. She is from Buffalo Grove, IL. Molly is currently a senior at Michigan State University majoring in Accounting with a minor in Jewish Studies. She is excited to be returning as a Senior Counselor for her third summer as a counselor at camp.

Dotan Appelbaum Rosh Anaf (Activity Head) – Studio Arts
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dotan joins us for his fifth summer on staff, and 12th summer at camp. Dotan spent a year at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine, where he learned the craft of handmade furniture. He recently graduated from Wesleyan University with degrees in sociology and studio art with a focus in painting.

Moria Arama Mishlachat – Songleading (Shira)
Moria was born and raised in Ramat-Gan, Israel. She currently attends the Open University of Israel and just finished her first year as a Computer Science and Computational Biology student.  Moria loves all kinds of music. She was a singer in the Ramat Gan band for 5 years and then mentored the youth band. She is also studying harp and music theory at the Ramat Gan Conservatory of Music. If Moria does not sing, study for a test, play the harp or work, she is most likely visiting her grandparents or playing ukulele with her little sister Yaheli.

Naor Avitan Mishlachat – Tarbut Yisrael (Israel Activities)
Naor joins us from Omer, Israel for his first summer on staff. He recently completely a gap year program with the Jewish Agency as a shinshin for the Jewish community of Chicago. Soon he will be joining the Israeli army.

Maytal Bach Rosh Eidah – Machon (10 grade)
Maytal Bach is a rising Senior at Brandeis University where she majors in Public Health and Anthropology, and minors in French and Francophone Studies. She spent the past year as a research fellow at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy. This is her 11th summer at camp and first time as a Rosh Eidah! This Kayitz she hopes to finally climb the Iceberg and beat Jacob and JAR in a tennis match (please reach out if you would like to take on either of these challenges with me!). She is very excited to be Rosh Machon 2022!

Kamil Baron International Staff – Kitchen
Kamil comes from Poland, from the city of Piekary Slaskie. Kamil is studying National Security at the WSB University in Chorzow. It is his first summer at Ramah.

Benjamin Barrish Ruach Ramah Counselor
Benjamin Barrish (Nivo ’21) is a rising senior at Rochelle Zell Jewish Highschool in Deerfield, Illinois. He is excited to be back at camp for his first summer on staff as a Ruach Ramah A-B counselor!

Aleksandra Bartosik International Staff – Kitchen
Aleksandra joins us from Szczecin, Poland for her first summer on staff. She is studying management at the University of Szczecin.

David Bausdorf General Counselor – Music
David joins us from Berlin, Germany where he is currently attending the technical University in Berlin and doing an orientation semester. He was a camper in 2019 and is excited to be back on staff.

Amit Ben Praz Mishlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Amit joins us from Israel for his first summer on staff. He graduated highschool in 2018 and was discharged from the army in 2021. This is his first time at camp.

Adrienne Berman Program Director
Adrienne Berman joined Camp Ramah in Wisconsin as Rosh Rishonim in 2018, continued that role in 2019 and 2021, and is now excited to be back as Program Director. She brings to the role her formal education from Concordia and McGill Universities and experience as an educator, preschool administrator and mom. She and her husband, Efrem, are originally from Montreal, Canada and currently live in Minneapolis, MN with their Ramah-nik children Cassie (Shoafim), Zach (Halutzim) and Tessa (Ruach Ramah). Adrienne’s parenting and teaching philosophy is rooted in love and consistency and empowers children through self-direction and praise.

Yuval Binyamin Mishlachat – Radio
Yuval joins us from Ness Ziona, Israel. This is her first summer at camp. She worked as a waitress for the last year, and before that she served in the army as a teacher instructor.  

Natalie Blitt Shavua Bogrim Facilitator
Natalie joins us from Skokie, Illinois for her 11th summer on staff. She studied English at McGill and journalism at The University of King’s College. She’s an education consultant for the iCenter, working to make Israel education an integral part of Jewish education. She is also the author of the young-adult novels The Distance from A to Z and The Truth About Leaving, as well as two middle-grade novels. Natalie and her husband, Rabbi Josh Feigelson, have three sons.

Matan Bloom General Counselor – Cabin
Matan Is from Evanston Illinois where he grew up and lived his entire life. Matan recently graduated from Evanston Township High School, and will be attending Indiana University where he plans to study Economic Consulting. Matan will be attending Young Judea Yearcourse in the fall of 2022.

Zuzanna Borawska International Staff – Housekeeping
Zuzanna joins us from Poland for her first summer on staff. She is studying English philology and Spanish at WSB (Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa) University in Gdansk.

Reka Bottyan International Staff – Day Camp Counselor
Reka joins us from Budapest, Hungary. She earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Geology from Eotvos Lorand University and is currently studying economic sciences at Corvinus University of Budapest. She is working as a geologist and this is her first summer at camp.

Noah Brody Senior Counselor – Cabin
Noah Brody is from Deerfield, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He will be a sophomore attending the University of Miami majoring in Sports Administration. Noah was a camper at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin for eight summers and this is his second summer on staff.

Talia Brody Baker/Mashgiach
Talia Brody is from Deerfield IL. In the fall she will be a sophomore at Johnson & Wales University, majoring in Baking & Pastry Arts. Talia was a camper at Ramah Wisconsin for 7 years and this will be her second year on staff.

Lena Bromberg Senior Counselor – Cabin
Lena is from Skokie, Illinois. This is her 7th year at camp. She spent 5 summers as a camper and this is her second year on staff. Lena attends Muhlenberg College, where she is double majoring in psychology and media and communications.

Ilisa Brown Bookkeeper
Ilisa received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington University in St. Louis. She has worked at a public accounting firm and as the controller of the International Academy of Merchandising and Design. Ilisa attended Camp Ramah in Wisconsin (Nivo ’81) for three summers as a camper and four summers on staff. All three of her children, Ari (Nivo ’12), Mason (Nivo ’16) and Shira (Nivo ’19), have attended Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and Ramah Day Camp.

Mason Brown Communications Specialist
Mason Brown is a communications specialist for Ramah Wisconsin and Ramah Day Camp this summer. He is from Deerfield, Illinois and just graduated from the University of Minnesota in graphic design. Mason was a camper from kindergarten through Nivonim, and was on staff for two summers at the overnight camp. He also worked as a photographer at Ramah Day Camp in 2021.

Samuel Caplan Chief Development Officer
Sam joined the year-round team in January 2014. Previously, Sam had served for two terms on the Ramah Wisconsin Committee and had been co-chair of Development with Dan Blumenthal on the Ramah Wisconsin Executive Committee.   Professionally Sam brings a wealth of development experience most recently serving as the Midwest Deputy Director for AIPAC where he managed an annual campaign of $14M across nine Midwest states.   Sam spent four years at Ramah Wisconsin as a camper and seven on staff including several as a Rosh Aidah. Sam met his wife Sarah Ettinger (Nivo ‘98) at camp, and they now have four children.

Maciej Chajdula International Staff – Kitchen
Maciej joins us from Cracow, Poland for his first summer on staff. He attends the Agricultural University of Cracow where he is studying renewable energy sources and waste management.

Kamil Chojecki International Staff – Kitchen
Kamil comes from Poland. He is a second-year student of psychology in business at WSB in Warsaw. He works as an IT recruiter (former investment advisor). This is his first time in the USA and his first time at camp.

Anna Clauer Senior Counselor – Cabin
Anna Clauer is a Senior Counselor from Kansas City. She currently goes to Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and is planning on majoring in Environmental Science with a focus in Chemistry. She went to Ramah Wisconsin as a camper for 6 years and has been on staff for 2 summers.

Aviva Clauer Ruach Ramah Counselor
Aviva Clauer is a first year staff member working with Ruach Ramah. She is from Kansas City and is an upcoming high school senior at Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy. She began as a Rishonim (day camp for staff children) camper at Ramah and continued as an official camper for 5 summers. She is a member of Nivo ’21.

Aaron Cohen Senior Counselor – Cabin
Aaron joins us for his second summer on staff after eight as a camper. From Chicago, he attends Washington University in St. Louis and is currently undecided as to what major he will pursuing.

Dori Cohen Senior Counselor – Cabin
Dori is so excited to be coming back to camp for her second summer on staff! After a year in college at Washington University in St. Louis, where she is studying biochemistry, Dori is ready for her tenth summer at camp.

Heath Cohen Sports Instructor-In-Residence 
Originally from Illinoi, Heath now lives in Boca Raton, Florida. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Kinesiology and attended Ramah every year except Shoafim when he had his bar mitzvah in Israel.  He has worked at camp in one way or another for over 5 years.

Joshua B. Cohen Jewish Studies
Rabbi Joshua B. Cohen was a camper, bunk counselor, Rosh Eidah, and the Assistant Director of Ramah Wisconsin over the course of 23 consecutive summers through 2006, returning last summer in 2021.  He has also worked in the past at Ramah in the Poconos for a summer and Ramah Nyack for 2 summers.  Originally from Skokie, IL, he holds BAs from List College and Columbia University, an MA in Jewish Education and Rabbinic Ordination from JTS.  Joshua met his wife, Sarah Bierman, on the Kikar as campers, and they made Aliyah to Modiin in 2009 where they live with their 3 children, Sidney, Shenan, and Shoval.  Joshua works as a Program Officer for Legacy Heritage Fund where he is the co-director of the Nachshon Project.

Noam Cohen  Mishlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Noam joins us from Israel  for his first summer on staff. During his army service he served in the special forces in the paratrooper division.

Micah Copelovitch General Counselor – Songleading (Shira)
Micah joins us from Madison, Wisconsin for his first summer on staff.  He was a camper for seven summers.  In the fall he plans to attend Madison Area Technical College where he hopes to study music.  He has been a veteran Ramahnik since 2013, and is beyond excited to be a counselor this summer!

Noemi Csilik International Staff – Kitchen
Noemi is from Hungary and she came through a student exchange program. This is her first summer on staff. She is a student at the University of Miskolc where she is studying health care.

Amy Cytryn Office Staff 
A longtime Ramahnik, parent and grandparent, Amy is excited to join us on staff this summer. Amy received her BA in Education from Simmons College and was a long time special education teacher. She and her husband Rabbi Eric Cytryn recently moved to Israel.

Eric Cytryn Rosh Tefillah
A graduate of the Joint Program of the Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia University, Rabbi Cytryn holds Bachelor degrees in Bible and Ancient Near Eastern Languages and Cultures and a Master’s degree in Judaica. He was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1981, and in 2007 received an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity from the Seminary. Rabbi Cytryn served congregations in New Orleans and St. Louis before coming to Harrisburg in 2003. Throughout his congregational work spanning over 25 years, Rabbi Cytryn has helped to create innovative programs in Family Education and Spirituality. A native of Westbury, New York, Rabbi Cytryn is married to Amy, a special education teacher, and they have two children and six grandchildren.

Jacob Cytryn Executive Director 
Jacob is returning for his 30th summer with Ramah – 23rd on staff. In 2018 he became the Executive Director of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and Ramah Day Camp after having been Director, Assistant Director and Program Director for several years. He earned an M.A. in Talmud and Rabbinics at JTS and is working on a Ph.D. in Jewish Studies and Education at Brandeis University. Jacob lives in Chicago with his wife Tamar and sons Sam, Micah and Hillel.

Noam Degorker Mishlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Noam joins us from Netzer Hazani in Israel for his first summer on staff. He attended Amit Rehovot High School and then did a gap year on Mehinat Bet Iater. He served in the Israeli Defense Forces in the Givati brigade and is looking forward to being at camp for the summer.

Gabriella DeKoven General Counselor – Cabin
Gabi DeKoven joins us for her 10th summer at camp and first summer on staff, from the city of Chicago, Illinois. She began her Ramah career as a Rishonimer while her mom worked in the Marp. In the future, Gabi plans to attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut and take a gap year with Shalom Hartman on the Hevruta program.

Sophie DeKoven General Counselor – Cabin
This is Sophie’s first summer on staff after spending 7 summers at camp, 1 summer on zoom, and 1 summer in Israel on Ramah Seminar. Originally from Chicago, she plans on attending Tulane University to study physics and biology.

Rebecca Denenberg Senior Counselor – Cabin
Rebecca Denenberg, known as Becca, is from Omaha, Nebraska. She has spent this past year on a gap-year program in Israel called KIVUNIM. She learned about KIVUNIM during her 8 summers as a camper and Becca is returning for her second year as a Chevrati counselor. Next year she will attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Marci Dickman Rosh Yahadut (Jewish Studies)
Marci is a Jewish educator passionate about connecting our tradition with our daily lives. During the year Marci works as the Director of Lifelong Learning at Beth Emet Synagogue in Evanston, Illinois. She lives in Skokie with her husband Ralph Schwartz.

Nicole Dolin Nurse
Nikki joins us from Madison, Wisconsin for her ninth year on staff. She earned a BA in Feminist and Gender Studies from Bryn Mawr College and a BSN from Rush University. She is currently working as a nurse in cardiology in Madison. She and her husband Ron have three children: Talia (Nivonim 2020), Alex (Machon) and Shayna (Solelim).

Talia Dolin General Counselor – Cabin
Talia joins us from Madison, Wisconsin. She has spent her summers at Ramah Wisconsin since she was ten years old. In the fall she will be studying psychology at Tulane University.

Shira Don Yehiya Mishlachat – Art (Omanut)
Shira joins us from Israel for her first summer on staff. In the fall she will be a counselor at Midreshet Lindenbaum.

Noam Dor General Counselor – Cabin
This is Noam’s first summer on staff after 8 summers as a camper. Noam was a counselor for Ruach Ramah in 2021. He plans to attend Northeastern University in Boston and will be studying Music Industry and Communication Studies.

Jeremy Drazner Shavua Bogrim Facilitator
Jeremy Drazner is so excited to teach comedy for a second time during Shavua Bogrim. During the year Jeremy is a special education teacher on the northwest side of Chicago. Jeremy received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bradley University and his Master’s degree from Ball State University.

Mark Drexler Doctor
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Mark returns for his 16th summer on staff. He attended Ramah Wisconsin from 1979-1981. He received his Bachelor of Science from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from The University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his residency in family medicine at Lutheran General Hospital and has been working as a family physician for over 20 years.

Micaela Ebenstein General Counselor – Cabin
Mica joins us from Montevideo, Uruguay. This is her first time at Camp Ramah. Back home, she took part for many years in a youth movement as a madricha. She is currently in the process of making aliyah, where she plans to enlist in the army and study audiovisual communication.

Tali Ebenstein General Counselor – Cabin
This is Tali’s first year at Camp Ramah. She is from Montevideo, Uruguay. Back home Tali was Madricha and Rosh Chinuch at one of the Jewish youth movements in Uruguay. Nowadays she attends ORT University where she is majoring in graphic design.

Rabbi Gesa Ederberg Teacher
Rabbi Gesa was ordained as a rabbi in Israel in 2002, and has since been working in Germany, as the founder of Masorti Germany and the rabbi of the Oranienburger Strasse Synagogue in Berlin.

Karen Ebroon Office Staff
Karen is from Deerfield, Illinois. She works in real estate in the Chicago area and as a teen engagement coordinator for Moriah Congregation. She is a graduate of Syracuse University. This is her 8th summer on staff – one year as a JC and the rest as an adult in the office, except for 2021 in which she helped out in housekeeping.

Noam Efergan Senior Counselor – Cabin
Noam Efergan is from Evanston, Illinois. Last year he participated in a gap year program in Israel called Kivunim and this year he will be attending the University of Michigan. This is his second year on staff and he has been coming to camp since Garinim.

Daniella Elyashar Assistant Director 
Daniella Elyashar joined the Ramah Wisconsin family in 2014 as a shlichah (Israeli staff member).  She spent three summers as a counselor and three as a Rosh Eidah and, during that time, completed a B.A. in Education, History, and Philosophy from the Hebrew University.  Just after her first summer on staff she was hired by the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) to recruit new shlichim to work in summer camps across North America. Daniella has also served as the founding Education Project Manager of the Yanshufim organization’s afterschool enrichment program for the children of refugees and asylum seekers in Tel Aviv.  This is her second summer as assistant director.

Aiden Ernsteen Senior Counselor – Cabin
Aiden is from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Aiden currently attends Drake University as a freshman. As a camper, Aiden spent 8 years as a camper at the overnight camp, and two years before that at the day camp in Chicago. This will be Aiden’s second year on staff at Ramah.

Hannah Ernsteen Senior Counselor – Cabin
Hannah is from Buffalo Grove, IL. She currently attends Saint Louis University as a nursing major. Before this summer, Hannah worked as a hostess for a restaurant for a year, and last summer she worked as a chevrati at Camp Ramah Wisconsin. Hannah has been attending Camp Ramah in Wisconsin for over 10 years, and before that she attended the day camp for a total of 4 years.

Idan Fine Mishlachat – Israel Activities (Tarbut Yisrael)
From kibutz Maagan Michael in Israel, Idan joins us for her second summer on staff. In high school she majored in social science and literature. She spent a gap year volunteering in a special needs hostel and then served in the army for two years as a commander in the education corps.  She is very excited for the summer and is looking forward to having fun with the campers.

Sophia Fineberg Rosh Eidah – Garinim (5th Grade)
Sophia is from Dallas, Texas and she graduated in May 2022 from Barnard and JTS with degrees in Psychology and Talmud. She is so excited to be joining us for her second summer on staff!

Ari Finkelstein General Counselor – Cabin
Ari just graduated from Millard North highschool in Omaha, Nebraska. He has been at Ramah since 2013 for his Kochavim summer. He is very excited to be on staff this year.

Ethan Finkelstein General Counselor – Cabin
Ethan joins us from Omaha, Nebraska and he loves sports. Some of his hobbies include weightlifting and shooting hoops. He has been going to camp since he was in Kochavim and can’t wait to be on staff.

Yonah Fisch Outdoor Education Specialist-in-Residence
Yonah Fisch came up to Camp Ramah in Wisconsin last year as a parent volunteer in the kitchen and was sold! This year he returns with his whole family to be an outdoor educator-in-residence bringing experience as an environmental biologist and ecologist along with years as a science educator to Ramah in 2022. He obtained his Master’s Degree from Hebrew University in Jerusalem prior to completing his PhD in Marine Biology and Ecology from the University of Miami, FL.

Whitney Fisch Programming Consultant
Whitney Fisch was born and raised in Marietta, GA. She attended undergrad at The College of Wooster in Wooster, OH and then went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work from University of Michigan. Whitney currently lives with her husband, Dr. Jay Fisch, and their 3 kiddos in Cincinnati, OH where she is the Executive Director of The Hillel at Miami University. This is her first year on staff at Ramah Wisconsin!

Emma Fishbein General Counselor – Cabin
Emma was born and raised in Highland Park, IL. She is a rising sophomore at the University of Michigan and plans to major in Biopsychology, Cognitive, and Neuroscience on the Pre-Med track. She was a camper for 8 years and is very excited for her second year on staff.

Ellie Fishman Rosh Eidah – Kochavim (4th Grade)
Ellie Fishman is a senior at Indiana University where she is majoring in Information Systems and Business Analytics with a Minor in Spanish. This will be her 10th summer at camp and her first time as a Rosh Eidah.

Shira Forester Jewish Studies Teacher
Shira has been coming to camp as a camper, staff member, and Rosh Eidah since 2007. She currently lives in New York, working as a teacher at Luria Academy in Brooklyn. She has a Master’s in Jewish Education from The William Davidson School at JTS. She received her Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation Psychology and certificate (minor) in Jewish Studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Matan Freedson-Mortkovitch Ruach Ramah Counselor
Matan joins us from Highland Park, Illinois for his first summer on staff. He was a camper for eight summers. He is currently a lone soldier in the Israeli Defense Force and loves being at camp.

Tal Friedman General Counselor – Cabin
From Carmel, Indiana, Tal went to Ramah Wisconsin for three summers (Shoafim-Machon). He plans to attend Indiana University after taking a gap year in Israel.

Bartosz Gandera International Staff – Kitchen
Bartosz Gandera is from Piekary Slaskie, which is in the south of Poland. He studies electroradiology at Silesian University of Silesia in Katowice. He received a Bachelor of Electroradiology last year. He works in hospital as radiographer. This will be his first time on a  work & travel program.

Irit Gavze Mishlachat – Rosh Anaf – Dance (Rikud)
From Petach Tikvah in Israel, Irit joins us for her fourth summer on staff. During her army service she was a combat soldier and worked on search and rescue. 

Raphael Gendler Teacher/Ruach Ramah Counselor
Raphy Gendler is spending his 12th summer at camp. He was in Nivonim 2015, attended Ramah Seminar, and was a madrich for three summers and a rosh eidah in 2021. He spent the recent year as an Avodah Jewish Service Corps fellow in Washington, DC. He studied industrial and labor relations at Cornell University.

Josh Glen Ruach Ramah Counselor
Josh has been at Camp Ramah since the first year of Ruach, and has loved every moment from start to finish. Josh is currently an incoming senior at Glenbrook North Highschool. Josh currently lives in Northbrook, but he lived in Roscoe Village at one point of his life.

Tal Goldshmidet Mishlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Tal joins us from Kibbutz Magal in Israel. He served in the armored forces of the Israeli Defense Force. This is his first summer on staff.

Ido Gome Mishlachat – Sport
Ido joins us from Israel 22 for his first summer on staff. He recently completed three years in the Israeli army as a combat soldier.

Sam Gordon Site Manager 
Sam received a BA and MA in Education from Western Kentucky University. He worked as a teacher in Louisville for 33 years, and spent many years as the principal of the Louisville Hebrew School and High School of Jewish Studies. This is his 24th  summer on staff.

Amir Graupe Senior Counselor – Cabin
Amir Graupe is from Buffalo Grove Illinois. He recently finished his junior year at the University of Illinois studying integrative biology and chemistry. This is his 10th year at Ramah in Wisconsin and his third year on staff.

Ari Graupe Senior Counselor – Cabin
From Mequon, Wisconsin, Ari joins us for his first summer on staff after seven years as a camper. This fall he will attend the University of Wisconsin, where he plans to study Electrical Engineering.

Nadav Graupe Senior Counselor – Cabin
Nadav joins us from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, for his first year on staff after eleven years as a camper at Ramah Day Camp and Ramah Wisconsin. For the past three years, he has worked as a teaching assistant for his synagogue’s family school.

Nesya Graupe Ruach Ramah Counselor
Nesya is excited to be at camp for her second summer on staff after spending five summers as a camper. From Milwaukee, she is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin- Madison where she studies biomedical engineering. When not working on problem sets, she enjoys volunteering, leading Shabbat services at Hillel, and participating in Engineers Without Borders.

Tamir Gray Senior Counselor – Cabin
Tamir joins us for his second year on staff this summer. He was a camper for seven years and proudly part of the first Kochavim. Having just finished his first year at New York University,  Tamir is excited to get away from “the city” for the summer.

Daniel Grzyl International Staff – Kitchen
Daniel joins us from Szczecin, Poland for his first summer on staff. He is studying transportation at ZUT (West Pomeranian University of Technology).

Eliana Halivni Ruach Ramah Counselor
This is Eliana Halivni’s 10th summer at camp and first as a counselor. She will be a senior at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School in the fall.

Alon Hankin Mishlachat – Cabin Counselor
Alon joins us from Kibbutz Gezer for his first summer on staff. He served three years in the Israeli army. He loves sports, landscaping and hiking.

Benjamin Harris  Consultant – Biking
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Benjamin earned his undergraduate from Indiana University and a Masters of Education from Loyola University. He was a camper 5 years, participated in Ramah Israel Seminar, and spent one year on staff. He consulted for Foundation for Jewish Camp for 6+ years. He is a parent to three children, who went to three different summer camps, and a former member of the senior leadership at Camp Sabra, St. Louis JCC. Has visited 25+ Jewish resident camps in North America.

Mark Harris Consultant – Waterfront
A former Ramahnik (Nivonim 1969), veteran staff member, Ramah parent, volunteer and member of the board, Mark was Rosh Agam in the 1970s and again in 2021, and is excited to be back on the waterfront this summer. Mark is the president of Harris Development Group, specializing in employee training and organizational development.

Nina Harris Senior Yoetzet/Staff Trainer
This is Nina’s 26th summer on staff. She was a camper for four summers and a participant in the 1980 Ramah Seminar. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago with an MA in social work. Nina is a licensed clinical social worker and is the school social worker at Chicago Jewish Day School. She lives with her husband Arnie and two children in Highland Park, Illinois.

Miriam Herstein Ruach Ramah Counselor
Miriam Herstein is a rising senior at Milken Community School in Los Angeles, California. She was born in the Twin Cities in Minnesota and she started attending camp in Rishonim in 2009. She has been going to camp for 12 years.

Sean Herstein Jewish Studies Teacher 
A veteran camp educator and staff member, Sean (Nivo ’93) has been coming to camp since he was in Bogrim.  Now, his youngest daughter is in Bogrim!  He has earned degrees from Indiana University, Hebrew University, and the Pardes Institute.  During the school year, Sean teaches Jewish Studies at Milken Community School in Los Angeles.

Michael Hobbs Doctor
Dr. Hobbs has lived in Minnesota since 1998. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, and received his MD from Rush University in Chicago. He currently practices pediatrics in St. Louis Park, MN.

Linda Hoffenberg Director of Institutional Advancement
A former camper, this is Linda’s 25th year with Ramah. She is a graduate of Spertus College where she earned a degree in Hebrew Education. Linda works with the year-round Ramah team to coordinate annual and capital fundraising campaigns, strategic planning efforts, communications and public relations.

Zsanett Hoffer International Staff – Day Camp Counselor
This is Zsanett’s first summer at Ramah. She is from Hungary and studies at the University of Pecs where she is in the teacher training program. Her majors are English and Italian, and she loves to learn new languages. She has travelled a lot in her life already, and has an admiration of knowing new cultures.

Jon Hoffman Chef 
Chef Jon Hoffman is from St. Louis, MO and is attending camp as a staff member for a fourth summer.  Jon launched his own catering business this spring, Papa Mark Catering.  He attended Camp Ramah in Wisconsin as a camper from 1993-1998, and then Seminar in 1999.

Henriett Horvath International Staff – Kitchen
Henriett joins us from Budapest, Hungary for her first summer on staff. She is currently a student at Corvinus University of Budapest where she is studying finance and accounting. Henriett loves cats and has 8 of them! She enjoys physics, astronomy and astrophysics, and would love to learn how to speak Russian one day.

Alan Imar Rosh Eidah – Bogrim (9th Grade)
Alan recently graduated from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary with BAs in History and Talmud & Rabbinics next week. He spent a year at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Next year, he will be spending a year living and studying in Israel. This will be Alan’s 9th summer at camp and first as a Rosh Eidah.

Boldizsar Jozsa International Staff – Kitchen
Boldizsar joins us from Budapest, Hungary for his first summer on staff. He is studying packaging design at Obuda University. He previously worked as a member of the maintenance team at Camp DMDC.

Flora K Szabo International Staff – Kitchen
This will be Flora’s first time at the camp. She joins us from Hungary. Flora studies tourism and catering in English at the University of Szeged.

Samantha Kaminsky General Counselor – Cabin
Samantha joins us from Chicago for her first year on staff. She has been a camper for 7 years and participated in Ramah Seminar in Israel in 2021.

Jane Kanarek Scholar-in-Residence 
Jane received her rabbinic ordination from JTS and her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. She is currently Associate Professor of Rabbinics at Hebrew College in Boston, where she lives with her husband and three sons. Rabbi Kanarek used to co-direct the Beit Midrash and Kollel program at camp. This is her third summer as scholar-in-residence.

Aaron Kanas Pharmacist 
Aaron was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Ohio Northern University, Raabe College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.  He has held executive and senior level management positions in retail, hospital, managed care, mail order, General Purchasing, and currently is the Director of Pharmacy for Cardinal Health at-Home Solutions. Aaron resides in Bexley, Ohio and lives with his wife Jan Kanas, daughter Rafie and son Benjamin. His interests are biking, hiking, fencing and traveling.  Aaron enjoys cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes along with the Flyers and Columbus Blue Jackets Ice Hockey teams.

Oren Kaplan Mishlachat – Cabin
Oren joins us from Omer, Israel for his first summer on staff. He studied biology and software engineering and he was a counselor in the Scouts. After camp, Oren is drafting into the army after he finishes his Hevruta gap year program in Israel.

Reka Katona International Staff – Kitchen
Reka is originally from Hungary and she is currently studying at Budapest Business School (University), specializing in community coordination. Thanks to her university this will be her first summer at Camp Ramah and also her first time as a staff member. She spent all her 20 summers in Hungary as a camper or a counselor, so she is really excited to experience something completely different.

Benjamin Kaufman General Counselor – Cabin
Benji was a camper at Ramah in Wisconsin for 7 summers. He has attended Jewish day school his whole life, including Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. He will be attending the University of Maryland in the fall.

Sophia Kaufman Ruach Ramah Counselor
Sophie is from Chicago and is a rising junior at George Washington University. She is studying Psychology and Criminal Justice. Sophie was a camper for six years, and this will be her third year as a counselor. Camp is truly her happy place.

Shir Keidar Mishlachat – Cabin Counselor
Shir joins us from Ashkelon, Israel for her second summer at Ramah and first at Ramah Wisconsin. She is really excited to meet everyone!

Ella Kelman Mishlachat – Teaching Kitchen (Mitbachon)
Ella joins us from Moshav Tnuvot in Israel. In high school she majored in theater and chemistry. When she graduated from high school she did a year of community service and then served two years in the Army Intelligence Division. Ella is currently working in a restaurant and coming to the camp for the first time.

Nandor Kiss International Staff – Kitchen
Nandor joins us from Budapest, Hungary.  He is a second year Business Informatics student at Budapest Business School. He has never been to the USA before and he is very excited about the trip. He already spent two summers working at a camp in Velence Lake, Hungary.

Sophia Kurzman General Counselor – Cabin
This is Sophia’s first year on staff after six summers as a camper and participating in Ramah Israel Seminar in 2021. From Wilmette, Illinois, this fall she will be attending the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign as an elementary education major.

Nathan Kushnir General Counselor – Cabin
Nathan Kushnir is from Deerfield, Illinois and will be a freshman at the University of Michigan in the fall. He went to Ramah Day Camp for seven summers and was a Ramah Wisconsin camper since his Kochavim summer. Last year he went on Ramah Israel Seminar and had an incredible time. He’s excited to back up at camp for an amazing summer!

Joshua Lazar SeniorCounselor – Cabin
Josh is from Chicago, Illinois and attends the University of Minnesota where he is studying political science and sociology.. He was a camper for eight years and this will be his second year on staff. He  also worked as a counselor at his religious school on Sundays in high school.

Moria Leheman Rosh Drama  
Moria is a Shlicha from Israel, currently living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Moria has a BA and MA from the Hebrew University where she studied drama and interdisciplinary studies. Moria worked as a drama teacher in a high school in Jerusalem and also taught drama workshops for ‘Teatron Psik’ in Jerusalem. Today she is a teacher in Milwaukee Jewish Day school, and a mother of three happy campers.

Anna Lenart International Staff – Camp Counselor
Anna joins us from Hungary for her first year on staff. She studied 5 years at Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church where she specialized in child development and clinical psychology while earning her masters.

Jane Levitan General Counselor – Cabin
Janie Levitan is from Highland Park, Illinois. She’s been going to camp since she was 10 years old. Janie just graduated from Rochelle Zell and is headed to University of Texas at Austin, but first she is off to Israel for a gap year!

Elena Levitt Teacher
Elena Levitt is a first time educator here at camp, and a parent of two campers. After working on the kitchen staff last summer, she was so inspired about camp that she wanted to come back again. She has a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education from American Jewish University, and has been teaching at Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School for 15 years.

Gal Liberman General Counselor – Cabin
After being a camper for one year, Gal makes his return to camp as a staff member. Gal is from Israel and this is his last summer before joining the IDF.

Matan Lieberman General Counselor – Cabin
Matan recently graduated from Rochelle Zell Jewish High School in Deerfield, Illinois. He has been coming to camp since he was little, in Rishonim, up until Bogrim. Next year, he will either be attending university or Young Judaea’s Yearcourse program in Israel. He is very excited for this summer.

Laeh Litin Infirmary Administrator
Laeh is a veteran staff member who has worked in numerous areas of camp over the years.  Aside from her 44 years at camp (6 as a camper), Laeh has lived in Chicago her entire life. She earned degrees in Dietetics, Sociology, and Athletic Training from UIC. After 25 years at Gordon Tech High School, in the fall of 2019 she started working at her current job at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School as the Athletic Trainer.  In her spare time, she plays hockey and is the Daily Minyan Torah reader at Mah Tovu (aka Ner Tamid Egalitarian Minyan) in Chicago.

Jason Litwack Kitchen Support Staff
Originally from St. Louis, Jason now lives in Chicago with his wife Naomi (began dating in Machon), and three children June, Zoey and Oliver. Jason began attending camp in 1992 as part of the first ever Halutzim, and went on to spend eight summers at Ramah as a camper and staff member, as well as one summer on Seminar. Jason graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Political Science and received a JD from Brooklyn Law School. Jason is a principal in a real estate investment company.

Timur Loginov International Staff – Kitchen
Timur graduated from university in Saratov, Russia. Now he is studying in Slovakia at Kiril and Metod University in Trnava in marketing communication.  He enjoys sports, running and playing beach tennis, as well as the theater. He works for a Slovak company as a marketing specialist.

Pal Lorencz International Staff – Kitchen
Pal joins us from Szombathely, Hungary for his first summer on staff. He is currently at university studying mechatronic engineering. He is also a scout.

Julia Lugosi International Staff – Day Camp Counselor
Julia joins us from Budapest, Hungary for her second year on staff. During the year she works as a teacher.

Daria Lustiger Mishlachat – Israel Activities (Tarbut Yisrael)
Daria joins us from Ness Ziona, Israel. She was recently discharged from the IDF after two years of service as a military writer at the Israeli navy office.

Yuval Luxenberg Mishlachat – Israel Activities (Tarbut Yisrael)
Yuval joins us from Ramat Gan for her second summer on staff. She was in the Tzofim (Israeli scouts) for nine years in which she participated in many Hadracha positions.

Abby Maeir Artist-in-Residence
After four incredible years as Rosh Omanut (2018-2021) where she helped design and inaugurate the new Art Center, Abby is excited to return to her roots this summer as Artist-in-Residence, a role she cherished at Ramah Wisconsin from 2014-2017, when she created camp’s first Fused Glass program. Abby also serves as Artist-in-Residence at Ramah Darom, Ramah New England and Chicago’s Ramah Day Camp. Abby is a Chicago-based artist and art educator whose passion for the arts dates back to her youth where she spent countless hours creating art at the Pittsburgh JCC. Abby, a Penn State graduate, embraces all types of art and teaches both children and adults as well as facilitates team-building workshops that inspire confidence and creativity. When she’s not teaching art, Abby works as a Product Zone Specialist for Apple.

Noa Maeir General Counselor – Cabin
Noa Maeir is a long time Ramahnik from Deerfield, IL. She attended Ramah Seminar in 2021 and was also a Ruach Ramah counselor. This will be Noa’s 10th summer at camp, and she is excited to return as a Junior Counselor. Noa graduated from Deerfield High School in May and will be attending University of Vermont in the fall to study nursing.

Mark Mangold International Staff – Kitchen
Mark joins us from Budapest, Hungary for his seventh summer on staff. He is currently at university studying economics and management.

Zofia Manka International Staff – Day Camp Counselor
Her official name is Zofia, but everyone calls her Zosia. She comes from Poland, however just after coming back from the US she will move abroad to take up university studies in The Hague- the capital city of The Netherlands. If everything goes well, in 4 years time she will graduate as a Bachelor of Law.

Adi Marcovich Mishlachat – Waterfront (Agam)
Adi joins us from Ness Ziona, Israel for her first summer on staff. In high school she studied chemistry and computer science. She just finished a pre-army program in Jerusalem called Hevruta, and will soon be drafting into the intelligence force.

Phoenix Mavropoulos General Counselor – Cabin
Phoenix is from Omaha, Nebraska and will be attending the University of Nebraska – Omaha, majoring in computer science. He went to camp for 5 years. This is Phoenix’s first year as a counselor.

Kinga Mazurek International Staff – Kitchen
Kinga comes from Poland where she is a criminology student. She worked in an orphanage as a teacher and caregiver. This is her second visit to the US to work at camp.

Rachel McDowell Doctor  
Rachel is the Medical Director at Camp.  She received her MD from Ben Gurion University/Columbia University in Beersheva (MSIH).  She is board-certified in Emergency Medicine.  During the year, she is the Medical Director of Antidote Health, a telemedicine startup, and also practices Emergency Medicine in Evanston and Chicago, IL. She is the mother of 6, including former and current Ramah campers.

Eliza Mednick General Counselor – Cabin
Eliza Mednick is from Madison, Wisconsin. She will be attending Tulane University in the fall, and has been going to camp for 9 years. She spent last summer in Israel on Ramah Seminar.

Abby Mehr Senior Counselor – Drama
Abby is from Niles, Illinois and this is her second year on staff after 8 summers as a camper. She attends The Ohio State University majoring in Science and Mathematics Education with a Physics specialization.

Aria Meisler General Counselor – Cabin
Aria is a rising freshman at Tulane University with an intended major in Business.  She is from Northbrook, Illinois and just graduated from Rochelle Zell Jewish High School.  Although she was never a camper at Ramah, she is very excited to immerse herself in the Ramah culture!

Rabbi Aaron Melman
Rabbi Aaron Melman has been a rabbi at Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook, IL for 20 years. He has been on staff at Ramah Wisconsin for 8 summers and loves every minute of being at camp. Rabbi Melman is a chaplain in the Illinois Army National Guard with the rank of Captain and also serves as the chaplain to the Northbrook Fire Department. His son Jordan (Nivo 21) is on staff at the Ramah Day Camp and his daughter Hannah is in Bogrim.

Abby Merkel Head of Housekeeping
Abby is from Eagle River, Wisconsin and is joining us for her 10th summer working at Camp Ramah.

Boaz Milgram Mishlachat – Sport
Boaz was born and raised on Kibbutz Gezer. Next year he will attend Hebrew University. Boaz majored in chemistry and biology in high school. Last year Boaz worked on sports staff as a baseball coach. Boaz is currently being employed by Ramah Israel for the RZ Jewish school in Chicago.

Leehe Milligan Yoetzet/Staff Trainer
Leehe resides in Northbrook with her husband, Sam and son, Noah. She holds bachelor degrees from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in Art History, Visual Arts, and Bible Studies. She also holds a Master in Professional Studies from the School of Visual Arts in Art Therapy. Leehe worked at Ramah Wisconsin from 1999-2008 as a counselor and Omanut staff member. She is really excited about being back at camp with her family!

Lauren Mindel Director of Camper Care and Inclusion
Lauren is delighted to join the Ramah Wisconsin community as the Director of Camper Care and Inclusion. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Lauren most recently worked as a therapist in child welfare at JCFS Chicago and has diverse therapeutic experience working with children, teens, adults and families. She holds a BS in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University and an MSW from the University of Chicago, with a certificate in Violence Prevention. Lauren has an extensive history with Ramah – she spent two summers as a camper at Camp Ramah in Nyack, 13 summers as a camper, counselor, and Rosh Eidah at Camp Ramah in Canada, and most recently two summers as a yoetzet (advisor to staff and campers) at Camp Ramah in California. Lauren attributes her time at Ramah as a significant factor in what shaped her both personally and professionally, and she is excited to have a role in passing that same privilege along to the next generation of campers.

Rachel Mirviss Ruach Ramah Counselor
Rachel is joining us for her 3rd summer on staff. She is excited to be back at her favorite place- laying on the kikar, dancing in the cabins with campers, and taking in the beauty that is camp. In the fall, she will start her senior year at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is excited to see where life takes her afterwards. 

Shomri Mlotek General Counselor – Cabin
Shomri is from Chicago. This is his first summer on staff at Ramah Wisconsin, after being a camper for several summers at Ramah Darom and Ramah Day Camp in Chicagoland. He participated in Ramah Israel Seminar in 2021. Shomri plans to spend next year in Israel on a gap year, and then attend Indiana University.

Aya Moller Ruach Ramah Counselor
Aya Moller was born in Israel and has lived in Australia, France, and America since. She will be attending the University of Illinois next year as a biology major on the pre-med track. This is her first year at Ramah!

Livia Moses Senior Counselor – Cabin
Livi is a student at Northeastern University in Boston and is majoring in Health Science. She is going into her fourth year of a five year program and plans on going to PA school once she graduates. She was a counselor in 2018 and 2019 and is now excited to be back as a chevrati for kochavim!

Lidor Nagar Mishlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Lidor joins us from Rosh Haayin in Israel. He served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a combat medic soldier in Tzanhanim and is working on the ropes course this summer! He can’t wait to meet everyone.

Zsofia Nemethova International Staff – Kitchen
Zsofia joins us from Balony in Slovakia for her first summer on staff. She is studying international relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava.

Ilana Neusner Nurse
Ilana joins us from Denver, Colorado where she is working as a psychiatric nurse. She graduated from Binghamton University with a BSN in Nursing. This will be her 7th summer at Ramah Wisconsin, and her 9th summer with Ramah.

Sydney Newman Senior Counselor – Cabin
Sydney Newman is from Arlington Heights, Illinois and currently attending the University of Illinois to study Special Education. She was a camper at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin for 8 years and this will be her second year on staff.

Tristan Newman Senior Counselor – Cabin
Tristan Newman is from Omaha, Nebraska. He just graduated from the University of Nebraska earning degrees in History, Religious Studies and Spanish. Additionally, he just finished serving as the youth advisor for Beth El Synagogue in Omaha. Prior to working at Beth El, Tristan was the education intern at Valley Beit Midrash in Phoenix, Arizona. Last summer was his first time at Camp Ramah and he is so excited to be back for Kayitz 2022! After camp he is moving to Jerusalem to attend the year program at The Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies.

Tamar Newman-Shapira Office Staff
Tamar Shapira earned a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Columbia College in Chicago. She also spent her junior year at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to teaching art at Chicago Jewish Day School, she worked as a graphic designer in Chicago and as a preschool teacher at Beth Emet Synagogue in Evanston, Illinois. In her spare time Tamar enjoys walking, photography, yoga, running, cooking, baking and quality time with friends and family. She has three children: Avi (age 19), Jesse (age 16) and Eliana (age 13).

Karen Nochimowki Chef-in-Residence
Karen Nochimowski is the creator of the cooking blog, MommaChef.com. Her blog has been featured in dozens of magazines and online publications. Karen’s first cookbook is coming out November, 2022. Karen also opened and runs Momma Chef’s Soup Kitchen, a weekly Chicago based soup kitchen at Congregation KINS and started the Momma Chef Little Free Pantry Movement.

Yonatan Norber General Counselor – Cabin
Yonatan Norber grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He recently graduated high school and will be attending the University of Chicago this fall with a physics major. He works as a youth educator at Anshe Emet Synagogue and has worked as a film captioner at Whitney M Young Magnet High School.

Jonathan Okner General Counselor – Waterfront (Agam)
From Skokie, Illinois, Jonathan is coming to camp for his first summer on staff. In the fall he plans to attend SDSU to study journalism.

Matthew Okner Senior Counselor – Waterfront (Agam)
Matthew is from Evanston IL, and this will be his seventh summer at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. Matt is coming back from his Gap year at Yeshivah Ashreinu in Israel, and plans on attending CU Boulder in the fall.

Sarah Olitzky Yoetzet/Staff Trainer
Sarah Olitzky, PhD,  is a licensed clinical psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. She works in her own private practice clinic and in schools to provide therapy and consultation in special needs programming and supports. She can’t wait to be at camp and help make sure that ALL children are supported to thrive and have fun at camp! Sarah is originally from Michigan, lived in NYC for 10 years and now loves Minneapolis life. Sarah has 4 children, 3 of whom will be returning campers this summer.

Shalom Orzach Rosh Tarbut Yisrael
Shalom is a senior educator with The iCenter, and serves on faculty for the Foundation for Jewish Camp. Prior, he served as the AVI CHAI Project Director for the training of staff returning to summer camps in North America, and Director of Education in the Shlichut and Israel Fellows unit for the Jewish Agency. He is a member of the International Education Committee of Taglit-Birthright, has served as a consultant for the Jim Joseph Foundation, JUF Ta’am Yisrael and the Jewish Peoplehood Committee and teaches a course in experiential education at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Shalom was the Central Shaliach for USY from 1992 -1995. He was also a scholar on the prestigious Jerusalem Fellows Program, following which he was the Executive Director for Jewish Renewal at the UJIA in England. Shalom is an acclaimed public speaker on contemporary Israel who brings extensive knowledge, humor and passion.

Shaked Oshiskin Mishlachat – Machnaut
Shaked joins us from Kfar Shmuel in Israel for his first summer on staff. During his three years of service in the Israeli army, he was a commander. He loves Israel and hiking. 

Gabriela Pawlowska International Staff – Kitchen
Gabriela joins us from Nowy Folwark in Poland for her first summer on staff. She is studying international relations at the Economic University in Poznan.

Shira Pellegrino Ruach Ramah Counselor
Shira lives in Overland Park, KS. She attends Blue Valley West High School where she will be a senior next year. She is attending Ramah Poland/Israel Seminar this summer and was a camper for 5 years.

Justin Pellis (justinpellis.com) is the accompanist for the machazemerim (musical theater productions) at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. He loves falafel, musical Havdallah, and getting his feet sandy by the agam. He is entering his second year of cantorial school at the Jewish Theological Seminary, which consists of Judaic, musical, and pastoral studies. He is a graduate of Goucher College.

Ethan Penn Senior CounselorRishonim
Ethan is a rising sophomore attending Washington University in St. Louis. He is majoring in math and will work with Rishonim for his second year this summer. This is his second year on staff and 9th year at Ramah. He is from the northern suburbs of Chicago.

Joe Pennington Food Service Director 
Joe joins us from Louisville, Kentucky for his 12th year on staff. He received a BA in English at the University of Louisville and studied culinary arts at Sullivan University. Joe and his wife Christina have three children.

Anita Phelps Welcome Center 
Anita Phelps has been on staff for ten seasons, most of which has been in our Welcome Center.  She lives in Eagle River with her husband, Don,  and has four adult children, three of whom worked at Camp for several years. During the off-season, Anita is a paraprofessional for the Three Lakes School District and enjoys her hobbies of crocheting, quilting, and reading.

Don Phelps Office Staff/Driver 
A resident of Eagle River, Don returns for his 19th summer on the Ramah staff. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, where he earned a BS in elementary education and a master’s in special education. He recently retired from teaching in the Three Lakes School District. Don and his wife Anita have four children and six grandchildren.

Max Pivo Rosh Eidah – Solelim (7th Grade)  
Max recently graduated from Dartmouth College where he majored in Middle Eastern Studies and Religion and minored in Linguistics. In the fall of 2022, he will start his MA in Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University. He is a big baseball fan – go Yankees (sorry not sorry)!

Micah Plofsky Senior CounselorCabin
Micah is  a rising Junior at Indiana University in Bloomington. He is currently a Secondary Education Major with a focus on Social Studies. He has been going to camp since he was in Garinim, and this is his second summer on staff.

Rebecca Portnoe Nurse 
Becky joins us for her 30th summer on staff. She was a camper for five summers and participated in Ramah Seminar in Israel in 1975. She is from St. Louis Park, Minnesota and has a BS in biology and a BS in nursing from the University of Minnesota. She works at Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota. She is also proud to be the eema and doda for many current and former campers and staff members.

Shachar Rodrig Mishlachat – Cabin
Shachar is from Israel. She lives in Kiryat Arba. Shachar did national Service at Menachem Begin Heritage Center and this is her first year at camp as a counselor.

Ellior Rose General Counselor – Sport
Ellior is from St. Louis, Missouri and is a first year staff member on sports staff. She was a camper from Kochavim-Machon (Nivo summer was the covid summer) and will be attending Case Western Reserve University in the fall.

Nadiv Rose Senior Counselor – Woodworking (Nagarut)
Levi is a student at WashU in St. Louis studying computer science. He has attended camp for 10 summers and is coming back for a second summer at camp on tzevet nagarut.

Ann Lesley Rosen Communications and Logistics Coordinator
Ann Lesley was a camper for two summers, participated in Ramah Israel Seminar in 1997, and is now in her 21st summer on staff. She joined the year-round staff team in 2010. She earned a BA in music and English from Lake Forest College and an MFA in creative writing and poetry from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. Originally from St. Louis, she and her husband Scott now live in Buffalo Grove, Illinois with their four children, who are all very excited to be at camp.

Dena Rosen Rosh Eidah – Halutzim (6th Grade)
Dena Rosen is a senior at University of Wisconsin-Madison where she is majoring in Communication Sciences & Disorders with minors in Education & Education Systems and Disability Rights & Services. This will be her 10th summer at camp and her first time as a Rosh Eidah.

Scott Rosen Site Manager
This will be Scott’s 22nd summer on staff after being a camper for two summers.  Inside and outside of camp, Scott has dedicated his work to youth with special needs.  He currently is a teacher at Rondout Elementary School north of Chicago.  Scott met his wife Ann Lesley when they were both in Nivonim and he proposed to her on the shore of Lake Buckatabon.

Zachary Rosen General Counselor – Sport
Zach is from Deerfield, Illinois. He graduated from Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. Zach will be attending Grinnell College where he will be playing basketball for the Pioneers.

Leah Rosenberg Senior CounselorWaterfront (Agam)
Leah grew up in Highland Park, Illinois and lived in Tucson, Arizona during high school. She is majoring in architecture at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. This will be Leah’s ninth summer at Ramah and her second summer on waterfront staff.

Shani Rosenblit Mishlachat – Dance (Rikud)
Shani is from Kibbutz Gezer. This is her first year at camp. Shani finished 12 years of school and completed three years of her army service. In school Shani majored in sports and biology. And in her combat military service Shani was a commander. In her free time Shani dances, hikes, and hangs out with friends.

Sadie Rosenthal Senior CounselorCabin
Sadie Rosenthal  the Phoenix native  is back for her second summer on staff and tenth summer at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin! Over the 2021-2022 school year, she participated in the KIVUNIM Institute gap-year program. Following camp, she will attend the University of Michigan majoring in Sociology.

Jonathan Ross Rosh Hanhallah 
Jon has spent more than 25 years making art with communities around the country as an actor, playwright, and teaching artist. Jon has served as an artist in residence at Union Theological Seminary, The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and many other religious and educational institutions. He was a Spielberg Fellow in Jewish Theater Education with the Foundation for Jewish Camp and received a Fellowship from the Covenant Foundation to create The In[HEIR]itance Project, which is a national arts non-profit that creates space for communities to navigate challenging civic conversations through collaborative theater projects inspired by inherited texts, traditions, cultures, customs, and beliefs. As an actor, Jon has performed in over 90 cities around the globe. His stage credits include: a dog, a 2,000-year-old bird, an elderly orthodox Jew, a spurned housewife, a horse, a British naval officer in 1700s Jamaica, a goat, Jesus Christ, a lawyer, a wrestler, a hapless police chief, and a cyclops. Zohar Roy Michlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Zohar joins us from Mitzpe Netofa, a religious settlement in the north of Israel.  She recently finished her military service in the bedouin unit (Gadsar 585) as a Hebrew teacher in the base Kerem Shalom. Now she’s living in the Arava, working in agriculture, studying and traveling. She did a year of volunteering before the army in Bet Shemesh and she used to work there with youth at risk. She likes to dance, travel, read and spend time with friends and family.

Robin Rubenstein Family Engagement Director
Robin is originally from suburban Chicago. She graduated from the Joint Program of the Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia University in 1996 with degrees in Talmud and political science. Robin currently lives in West Bloomfield, Michigan with her husband Steven and their children, Ari (Nivonim 2017) and Tali (Nivonim 2020).

Tali Rubenstein General Counselor – Cabin
Tali is from West Bloomfield, Michigan. This upcoming fall, she will be attending Indiana University – Bloomington to study Sports Marketing and Management. This will be her 15th year at camp and her first year on staff.

Or Saar Mishlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Or joins us from Rishon Lezion in Israel. Before the army Or did a gap year in Roach Nahon, volunteering with children from difficult families. In the army Or was a Commander in Combat Engineering and then head of logistics.

Adva Saban Mishlachat – Omanut
Adva joins us from from Rehovot israel. This is her first year as a staff member on team Omanut and she is very excited.  She majored in physics in high school and served 2 years of national service in Jerusalem as a programmer. She currently works as a product manager.

Shaked Samid Mishlachat – Waterfront (Agam)
Shaked joins us from Haifa, Israel for her first summer on staff. She is currently working as a medic.

Alexander Schapiro Senior Counselor – Cabin
Alex grew up in Chicago, Illinois and the Czech Republic. He just completed the Kivunim Gap Year program and will be attending Yale University this coming fall. He has a deep affinity for the Semitic languages and hopes his campers will complete the summer with a working knowledge of Akkadian. Alex has always loved Mishmar and grilling.

Eitan Schoenberg Ruach Ramah Counselor
Eitan joins us from Glenview, Illinois where he recently completed high school at Glenbrook North with the class of 2022. In the fall, he will be attending the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities, where he will be studying Journalism. This will be his first summer as a counselor at Camp Ramah.

Carl Schrag Israel Educator-in-Residence
Carl lectures and teaches about Israel and Israel-Diaspora ties. He is an Associate of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and a former editor of the Jerusalem Post. He currently lives with his wife and three sons in the suburbs of Chicago.

Ralph Schwartz Director of Shiluv
A veteran Ramahnik, Ralph worked in the Tikvah Program at Camp Ramah Palmer from 1977-1982. He directed the Breira Program at Ramah Berkshires from 2002-2005, and joined Ramah Wisconsin in 2006. A graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in special education, Ralph also earned a Master of Social Work from Hunter College. He and his wife Marcie Dickman (also on staff) have four children.

Lauren Scott Rosh EidahShoafim (8th Grade)
Lauren is excited to be back at camp for her 13th summer, and 2nd summer as a Rosh eidah! Lauren attended the Nativ College Leadership Program after high school and recently graduated from Brandeis University where she studied health sciences, psychology, and Judaic studies. In the fall, Lauren will be starting a masters in biomedical sciences at Rosalind Franklin University. In her free time, Lauren enjoys making ceramics and doing the New Yorker crossword puzzle. 

Margalit Segal – Enrollment Associate
Margalit received a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis. She has worked as an investment analyst, as well as a legal and executive recruiter. Margalit and her husband have three children, two at the overnight camp and one at Ramah Day Camp in Chicago.

Naomi Sendlin General Counselor – Cabin
Naomi Sendlin is from Skokie, Illinois, a suburb outside of Chicago. She has attended public school all of her life until Junior year, where she transferred to Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. She will be attending Indiana University in the fall. She has been a camper for 7 years, and this is her first year on staff.

Avi is from Evanston, Illinois and spending his 10th summer at Camp Ramah. He recently finished his freshman year at the University of Michigan where he’s majoring in Organizational Studies. Avi’s favorite parts of camp are hooping on the migrash kadur sal and Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat services by the lake!

Jacob Shapiro Artist-in-Residence
Jacob comes from scenic Skevanston, Illinois. He is the owner of Vero Design Build and a proud member of the Nagarut (woodworking) team. Jacob likes walks on the beach, ranch dressing and show tune sing-along with his children.

Gabe is from Chicago, Illinois where he is a high school senior. Gabe has spent nine summers as a camper and will participate in Ramah Israel Seminar this summer, 2022. Fun fact: Gabe makes bagels and loves soccer and music.

Ethan is coming back on staff for his second summer at Ramah Wisconsin. He is originally from Los Angeles, CA, and spent a combined 10 summers at Ramah California as a camper and staff member. He attends University of Wisconsin – Madison, majoring in Mathematics and Economics.

Yeela is from Israel, and was recently discharged from the army 9 months ago. She volunteers at MDA, first medical aid service. This will be her first time at camp and the first time in USA.

Mishel Sherman Mishlachat – Cabin Counselor
From Herzeliya, Israel, this will be Mishel’s first summer on staff. During her army service she worked as a behavior analyst.

Anastasiia Shevchenko International Staff – Camp Counselor
Nastya joins us from Ukraine.  She graduated from a pedagogical university in Ukraine. Now she is a student of communication and marketing at a Slovak university.  Her hobbies are dancing and traveling

Dina Shiner Yoetzet/Staff Trainer
Dina currently lives in Deerfield, Illinois. She is the proud mother of Ari, Zachary and Nathan Rosen. Dina has worked as a school social worker at Springman Middle School since 1989. She was a camper for 3 years (Nivo 1981), and Israel Seminar (1982). This is Dina’s 11th summer at Ramah as a Yoetzet.

Risa Siegel Doctor
Risa was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She first attended camp in 1993. She was a camper through Nivo 96 and attended Israel Seminar in 1997. She went on to be a JC on sports staff is 1998 and was a senior counselor in 1999.

Meira Silverstein Musician-in-Residence  
Meira Silverstein is a professional violinist who performs regularly with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Minnesota Orchestra. A graduate of Yale (MM ’04) and Mannes College of Music (BM ’01), she counts as one of her more formative experiences her gap year in Israel (’01-’02) where she split her time between studies at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem and lessons with Chaim Taub, former Concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic in Tel-Aviv. This will be her second year in her in-person position as Rosh Omanuyot Habamah and seventh year on staff. Her two children, Dani and Adinah consider Ramah Wisconsin their summer home and plan to continue yearly for the rest of their lives.

Heidi Simons Yoetzet/Staff Trainer
Heidi hails from the Bluegrass State, where she currently resides with her husband and two children in Lexington, Kentucky. Heidi was a Ramah Wisconsin camper for six summers and has been on staff on and off for nine summers, with jobs ranging from drama staff to rosh aidah, organizing the ‘No Smoking’ show to planning the Machon trip. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, earning a degree in Psychology, and attended graduate school at Northwestern University to earn her Master’s in Education. She began her teaching career in Chicago, teaching for four years at Chicago Jewish Day School before moving to Lexington with her family. She currently teaches fifth grade Language Arts and Social Studies at The Lexington School. She is thrilled to be a yoetzet this summer, and even more thrilled to be joined by her two children, Adina (4) and Ezra (1) (and occasional visitor, her husband Matt). She hopes to start her children’s love of Ramah Wisconsin early!

Yael Smith General Counselor – Cabin
Yael is happy to be back at camp after missing her canceled Nivonim summer due to the pandemic. She has been a camper for 7 years and participated in Ramah Israel Seminar in 2021. From Highland Park, Illinois, she plans to attend Nativ College Leadership Program this fall and the following year she will attend Washington University in St. Louis.

Penina Smoler Rosh Anaf – Teaching Kitchen (Mitbachon)
Penina attended camp as a camper from 2010 to 2016 and was a staff member in 2018. She recently served in the Israeli Airforce as a technician. Penina will be starting university in the fall and lives in Modiin, Israel.

Mitchell Spinnell Doctor
Mitchell Spinnell was born and raised in New York. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at University of Pennsylvania, his Medical Degree at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and held his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center where he also did a fellowship in Gastroenterology. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology, National Board of Medical Examiners.

Naomi Spiro is from Skokie Illinois and is currently attending University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where she is majoring in engineering physics. This is her second summer on Staff at Ramah in Wisconsin but tenth summer in total.

Seth Stein Ruach Ramah Counselor
Seth Stein currently attends Columbus Torah Academy in Columbus, Ohio. He will be a senior this fall. Seth has been a camper at Ramah Wisconsin since 2014. Seth will be traveling to Israel this summer on Ramah’s Israel Seminar program. Seth looks forward to meeting the next generation of campers this summer!

Shira Steinberg Director of Elementary Program
This is Shira’s third summer working with the elementary aged campers after many summers as a camper, counselor and Rosh Aidah at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska – Omaha in their Teacher Education program. Shira holds two Bachelors of Arts degrees from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary. She has a Master of Arts degree in Education from Bank Street College of Education. She is excited to be in Camp this summer with her two kids: Naama and Leor!

Naomi Sugar Stewardship/Communications Consultant
Originally from Massachusetts, Naomi has been part of the Ramah community for years. Naomi attended Ramah New England for 10 summers, and participated in Tichon Ramah Yerushalayim and Ramah Seminar. Naomi and Eric, and their children Jonah and Caleb are spending the year in Israel, though they typically live in Chicago! Naomi has a background in public health and serves as the Co-Director of the Global Health Concentration at Northwestern University’s Program in Public Health. Being at Ramah is a dream!

Sari Sugar General Counselor – Waterfront (Agam)
Sari is from Deerfield, Illinois. She will be attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign this coming fall as a freshman with a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology. While this is her second year working for Ramah, this is her first year at the overnight camp. She attended both Ramah Day and Overnight Camp for the past 13 years and is looking forward to a great summer!

Attila joins us from Budapest, Hungary for his fourth summer on staff. He attends Károli Gáspár University where he is studying law.

Sarah Topal Consultant
Sarah joins us for her second summer on staff.  Sarah was the Youth and Family Coordinator at Adas Israel in Washington D.C., and has served as the Program Director for Camp Ramah Darom. She holds degrees in Elementary Education and Education Technology from the University of Florida and a Masters Degree in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary. 

Scott Topal Director of Operations
Prior to joining the Ramah Wisconsin team in 2018, Scott worked for seven-and-a-half years with Accenture as a management consulting manager. He has led teams and advised global financial, pharmaceutical and government clients to leverage new technology, launch new internal departments and improve operational efficiency. Scott is a native New Yorker and lifelong summer camp enthusiast. He graduated from Northwestern University where he studied learning & organizational change and business institutions by day and served as president of Hillel by night. He has a longtime connection to Ramah, having spent five summers at Camp Ramah in Nyack as a counselor, s’gan (assistant) rosh eidah, assistant director of communications and program director.

Tsur Tsaban Mishlachat – Waterfront (Agam)
Tsuri joins us from Kfar Truman next to Ben Gurion Airport. He finished his army service a year and a half ago, and enjoys hiking and riding a motorcycle.

Gil Turgeman Mishlachat – Outdoor Education (Machnaut)
Gil joins us from Israel for her first summer on staff. During her army service she instructed tank  warriors. She is part of the outdoor staff, and her plans are to learn psychology at university.

Miles Ury Rosh Anaf – Music
Miles is originally from Deerfield, Illinois. He recently graduated from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign with a BA in Archaeology and a BS in Statistics. Miles worked at the University Hillel helping program Shabbat activities for 3 years and has been at camp as a staff member for 4 summers, as well as a camper for 6. He also played in many Jazz bands though high school and university and is excited to utilize this musical knowledge this summer as Rosh!

Amitai Vales Senior Counselor Drama
Amitai is from Deerfield Illinois, and he is currently studying theater at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Amitai attended Ramah as a camper for nine years and is returning on staff for his second summer.

Natan is from Deerfield, Illinois. He is currently studying in the art education program at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Natan was a camper at Ramah Wisconsin from Garinim to Nivonim, and is now returning for his third summer on staff.

Zahava Vales Nurse
Zahava joins us for her fourth year on staff. She was a camper for three summers and participated in Ramah Israel Seminar in 2013. She did a gap year on Nativ in 2014-2015. She received her bachelors in public health from Indiana University and her masters in nursing from DePaul University.

Samuel Vingron Teacher
Samuel is a JTS rabbinical student from Berlin, Germany. He did his BA in Jewish Studies and History, both on teaching track, at the German university town Heidelberg. In Germany Samuel has been to Jewish Summer Camp many times but he has yet to discover the beauty and fun of Camp Ramah.

Tomer joins us from Israel for her first summer on staff. She was recently discharged from the army.

Amalya Volz Teacher
Amalya Volz (she/her) is a rising fourth-year rabbinical student at JTS.  She has a BA in Jewish studies from Oberlin College and is originally from the Cleveland area.  In the fall she will begin working as the rabbinic intern at the Fort Tryon Jewish Center in Washington Heights, Manhattan, where she lives with her cat Egoz.  This is her first summer at camp!

Ivan Vujcic International Staff – Camp Counselor
Ivan joins us from Szentpeterfa in Hungary for his second summer on staff. He currently works as an English-German translator. He enjoys playing music and reading.

Luka Vujcic International Staff – Kitchen
Luka joins us from Szentpeterfa, Hungary for his first summer on staff. He is currently studying computer science and has wanted to become a programmer since elementary school. He really enjoys languages, so he is hoping to pick up some Hebrew this summer as well as improve his English.

Veronica Warner Ruach Ramah Counselor
Veronica is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but has since moved to San Diego, Taiwan, and Orange, California. She is currently a Junior at Chapman University studying Environmental Science with a double minor in Peace Studies and Chinese. By the end of next year, she will have earned a bachelor in science. Veronica has worked at camp for two summers in the past and currently volunteers and has a part time job at her university. Veronica has been a camper at Camp Ramah for four summers and a counselor for two.

Krzysztof Wasik International Staff – Camp Counselor
Krzysztof joins us from Warsaw, Poland for his first summer on staff. He is studying English at University of Maria Curie – Sklodowska in Lublin. He also works for a company called Booksy.

Liat Wasserman Rosh EidahNivonim (11th Grade)
Liat is a recent graduate of George Washington University where she received her BA in international affairs with minors in Arabic and Hebrew languages and cultures as well as journalism. She spent the past year teaching English in Haifa as part of a fellowship through the Israeli Ministry of Education. This will be Liat’s 12th summer at camp and second summer as a rosh eidah.

Julia will be a senior at Omaha North next year and spent 7 summers as a camper at Ramah.

Sam Weiner Atzmayim Coordinator
Sam Weiner joins us for his 8th summer at camp and 6th with the Atzmayim program. Sam attended the University of Wisconsin Madison where he obtained at B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Sam is thrilled to be back at camp to run a few more laps around the Garbage Trail.

Alana Weiser Ruach Ramah Counselor
This is Alana’s first year on staff after 7 summers as a camper. She is going into her senior year of high school at St. Louis Park in Minnesota. She will be attending Ramah Seminar after being a Ruach Ramah Counselor.

Zachary Weiser Rosh Anaf – Waterfront (Agam)
Zachary Weiser is from Minnetonka, Minnesota and this will be his 7th summer at Ramah Wisconsin as both a camper and a counselor. Zachary recently finished his freshman year at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania studying bioengineering after taking a gap year in Israel.

Michele Weiss Yoetzet/Staff Trainer
Michele is a marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in private practice in Chicago, Illinois. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University. She attended The Family Institute at Northwestern University for her graduate education and fellowship. She went on to receive post-graduate training at The Institute for Psychoanalysis. She is currently pursuing certification as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. She loved being a Yoetzet at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin in 2021.

Hila Weissman Mishlachat – Cabin Counselor
Hila joins us from Givat Shmuel in Israel for her first summer on staff. She recently finished her army service. She was active in a youth movement and enjoys roller skating.

Meredith Weprin Director of Atzmayim
Meredith was a camper at Ramah New England and was a staff member there for five summers. This is her eighth summer on staff at Ramah Wisconsin. She attended Ramah Israel Seminar in 2000. She lives in Columbus, Ohio and earned her MA in speech-language pathology from New York University. She is in private practice as a pediatric speech-language pathologist.

Dominika Wojtowicz International Staff – Kitchen
Dominika joins us from Poland, near Cracow. She studies at Medical University of Silesia. She has a bachelors degree in electroradiology. This is her first summer at camp.

Ziv Yahav Mishlachat – Sport
Ziv joins us from Israel for his first summer on staff. During his army service he was a commander in the artillery corps. He used to play tennis in high school and for many years and also volunteered as a tennis coach.

Omer Yefet MishlachatCabin Counselor
Omer is a returning shaliach for the third summer who comes from Hod Hasharon is Israel. 

Sam Zacks General Counselor – Cabin
Sam loved his 3 year long experience as a camper here, and is eager to work his first year on staff. He is from the Chicago-suburbs, and will be a sophomore at Carleton College in Minnesota next year, and also plays baseball there. He can’t wait to meet all his campers and have a fantastic summer.

Ori Zigman Mishlachat – Cabin Counselor
Ori is from Israel, where she was born and lived most of her life. She is now on a gap year with the Jewish Agency in Chicago, where she volunteers with the Jewish community.

Yael Zini Mishlachat – Vocational Program (Atzmayim)
Yael was born and raised on Petach Tikva. Next year she will attend Ono College. This is her second summer on Atzmayim staff. Yael is currently working at school and also in a special department for people with special needs. In her free time she likes to bake, cook, listen to music, and watch Netflix.

Roy Zloty Mishlachat – Cabin Counselor
Roy is currently doing a gap year from the Jewish Agency in Chicago. Roy was born and raised in Israel and majored in computer science and music in high school. This will be Roy’s first summer at camp.

Gabrielle Zukerman General Counselor – Infirmary Aide
Coming from Northbrook, Illinois, Gabi joins us for her first summer on staff. She recently graduated from Rochelle Zell Jewish High School and will attend the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She plans to study biology on the premed track. She was a camper for five years and is excited to come back on Marp staff!
