WHERE FUN NEVER STOPS

and friendships last forever.

RAMAH CAMPER FOR THE SUMMER.

Ramah family for life.

Camp Ramah in Wisconsin offers vibrant experiences—filled with camp fun and friends—that build Jewish lives and leaders. Our holistic community inspires our campers and staff to see themselves in the ongoing renewal of our rich heritage.

Why Camp Ramah

PROGRAMS BY GRADE

EIGHT AGE GROUPS. NINE DISTINCT EXPERIENCES.

One singular focus on fun.

Camp Ramah Wisconsin offers a variety of experiences for campers beginning in third grade and going all the way up to eleventh grade. As campers grow up, their camp experience grows with them. The range of activities varies from year to year. The level of independence increases as campers get older. But one thing is constant: our commitment to making THIS the best summer ever.

3rd – 5th Grades – Ruach Ramah

Ruach Ramah is designed to provide our campers a fun-filled introduction to the overnight camp experience. Their one- or two-week experience is filled with all the best camp activities — swimming, sports, challenge course, singing, art and dance. They experience the highlights of camp and make amazing new friends.

4th/5th Grades – Garinim

From overnight camping trips to camp-wide celebrations, including Yom Sport, July 4th and more – Garinim offers non-stop fun. Campers choose from a variety of activities, designed to teach new skills and build self-esteem. And did we mention the foam parties?

6th Grade – Halutzim

Halutzim has all the ingredients of a great summer – a cabin full of friends, great counselors, and non-stop activities to enjoy all that Ramah has to offer. Halutzim offers ever more opportunities for campers to experience the special bonds that form when they spend their summer in this very special place.

7th Grade – Solelim

Solelim campers choose a specialty workshop – like woodworking, boating, art, music or basketball – and dive deep. Friendships also deepen through athletic competitions with other eidot (divisions), Shabbat celebrations, and of course performing their own Broadway musical for the entire camp. It’s a full summer in every sense.

8th Grade – Shoafim

Shoafim spend the summer honing skills, furthering interests, deepening connections and continuing to master the fine art of having a ridiculous amount of fun. In this special summer of their Bar and Bat Mitzvah year, they explore their connections to their camp and home communities, take on new responsibilities, and leave camp more mature and self-confident.

9th Grade – Bogrim

As focused as ever on having fun, our Bogrim can do so with more freedom to shape their days–and their summer. It’s an experience that will shape them for years to come. A major highlight is Shavua Bogrim, an awesome week of specialty clinics led by professionals in sports, arts, outdoor adventure and more.

10th Grade – Machon

Campers can’t wait until Machon, when the beautiful lakefront area known as “The Point” is all theirs. Camp no longer feels like a second home. It just feels like home. And the friendships and connections they’ve made here will remain long after they leave here. They can opt-in to lifeguard training, and everyone loves the Machon trip – five days of unforgettable fun.

11th Grade – Nivonim

How do you top the previous incredible summers? Our Nivo campers spend every day trying. They step up as camp leaders, and they do it in a big way. And they have tons of fun in the process. They also gain experience as CIT’s for younger campers and as interns in camp activities. They go on a three-day canoe trip that they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. They captain the Yom Sport competitions and always get the best performances at the camp talent show. Best of all – they live on the gorgeous Givah, the Nivo campus designed just for them.
