Many campers have chosen to include Ramah in their Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration as part of a special mitzvah project.
We are very grateful to the campers who have included Ramah in their Bar or Bat Mitzvah. For example, one camper designated the Ramah Scholarship Fund as her mitzvah project and asked friends and family to make a donation in honor of her Bat Mitzvah. She added this note to her invitation: “I feel that Camp Ramah is the happiest place on earth and every kid that wants to should be able to go to camp. I hope that I can help to make that happen.”
Another camper designated the Tikvah program as her mitzvah project. She participated in Chicago’s “Bike the Drive” and asked friends and family to sponsor her by making a donation to Tikvah.
Other campers have made donations to maintaining and preserving our Czech Memorial Torah. Click here to read more about the Torah.
A brand new web tool, my.ramahwisconsin.com, makes it easy to create a personal Mitzvah Project page and reach out to family and friends to support Ramah in honor of your simcha. Pick a fun name, upload a photo, share your Ramah story and just like that you can help provide scholarships for kids to come to camp next summer!
Any gift to camp in honor of your Bar or Bat Mitzvah is greatly appreciated.
Camp Ramah in Wisconsin is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your gift is tax deductible to the full extent provided by law.
